Mouse (Mus musculus)

Our laboratory uses the mouse model for our Alzheimer's disease projects. We also implant a radio-telemetry by surgery for the recording of gastric myoelectric activity in conscious, freely moving mice. We developed a unique non-transgenic GI-seeded beta-amyloid Alzheimer Disease mouse model to study the involvement of brain-gut axis in the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
