Research Interest

  • I am a postdoc scientist with research interests in translation of animal studies by improving animal welfare and analytical methods.
  • My recent work investigates the physiological and behavioral mechanisms underlying to cisplatin-associated adverse effects. The project involves small animal surgeries, animal behaviour recording, and electrophysiological signal analysis.
  • Before joining JAR lab, I studied the role of regulatory immunity in paediatric allergic patients for PhD at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. For my honours project at the University of Glasgow, I studied the role of acute inflammation in a transgenic mouse model.
  • I am currently affiliated with LASEC as an animal ethics and welfare officer.
